If you want to cook with butter, but it’s just too expensive, here is a recipe made from powdered milk that tastes and acts just like butter, but at less than half the cost. This butter can be used for everything that you would use normal butter for.
Kitchen tools needed:
- Mixing bowl
- Measuring spoons
Powdered milk butter
Gather your ingredients together
Place all ingredients in a bowl and beat for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes the mix should be like very thick cream.
Place in the fridge to firm up.
When firm or overnight scoop into an airtight container and keep in the fridge to use as required. This will keep in the fridge for a few weeks.
This mixture can be frozen to keep or a few months if required.
Don't use olive oil, or your butter will taste of it.
